Help save a life at no extra cost to you by telling the state where you would like your tax dollars to go!
"What a joy it is to know my taxes are going to help women in a crisis pregnancy."
You too can make a difference!
The Arizona Charitable Tax Credit
The state of Arizona allows taxpayers to receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for donations to the Crisis Pregnancy Centers of Greater Phoenix, Inc.
What is the difference between a tax credit and a tax deduction? A tax credit is applied as a reduction to your tax bill. In this case, the credit comes off the top of your state tax bill, lowering the amount of money that you must pay. In addition to the state tax credit, your gift may be taken as a deduction on your federal taxes.
How do I qualify? You must simply itemize charitable contributions on your state tax return. Starting in 2009 there is no longer a baseline year requirement - this means almost everyone may redirect their taxes to CPC.
If you have questions regarding this tax credit, please consult your tax advisor or contact the Arizona Department of Revenue at (602) 255-3381. You may also read about this tax credit on-line at the Arizona Department of Revenue by clicking here.
A Letter from Our Director:
We want to ask that you seriously consider financially supporting The Crisis Pregnancy Centers by telling the state of Arizona where you would like a portion of your tax dollars to go. With your donation we will be able to continue meeting the needs of women with an unplanned pregnancy and reaching our youth with the message of abstinence-until-marriage. It is such a wonderful opportunity to impact the lives of so many hurting young men and women.
By simply making a donation of up to $400 per married couple, you can receive a tax credit on your next return. Yes, we do have the chance to direct our tax dollars!
Thank you in advance for joining with us in our mission of saving lives and protecting futures in our community.
Blessings,
Barbara Willis
Executive Director
