Faith Based

At one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord.
(Ephesians 5:8-10)

CPC Prevention

CPC Prevention for faith-based organizations is a support for the church with a strong and flexible offering of faith-based material in the various areas CPC serves, from the unborn to sexual integrity and parental support. Our 90 minute presentations still incorporate the core of our successful sex education curricula for middle and high school students (Worth the Wait and Passion & Principles), but explicitly presents the material from a perspective that places Jesus Christ and the Word of God at the center and as the key to honoring God through sexuality.

We also conduct our Operation Integrity (OI) training twice a year, with the objective to train youth pastors, youth workers, and up-and-coming leaders to step onto local school campuses with the invaluable message of sexual integrity. Operation Integrity (OI) is a crucial training ground for our educators to speak of freedom, integrity, and the choice:consequence connection. OI is a great way to bring God's wisdom and love onto the school campus by sharing with teens the most sensible and satisfying option for their future: abstinence! Faith-Based Prevention

The Church and Para-Church Organizations

One of our most treasured venues is God's church. This is because God knits believers together in the body of Christ so that we may "spur one another on towards love and good deeds" (Hebrews 10:24). One vital area of this encouragement is sexual integrity. We recognize that sex is a complicated, and often heated, topic of discussion; it can convey mystery, curiosity, fear, and embarrassment. Because sexual integrity lacks clear definition in our culture, sex is an area that is easy to conceal, evade, or ignore.

Our faith-based program is where we can find the founding principles for why one would abstain from sex outside of marriage. Looking at our roots is critical and often provides direction and clarity. Therefore CPC Prevention looks to our roots in God's truth to assist the church or other partnering organizations. We take great pleasure and satisfaction in pointing individuals to God's Word to discover his heart for sexual integrity and thus the reverence we should hold for this exciting but volatile part of life.

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.
(Hebrews 13:4)

Our faith-based program extracts many key elements from our other curricula (Worth the Wait and Passion & Principles), yet we expound on the fundamental fact that God designed sex for marriage, and so we are fully able to credit the right source when we are welcomed into Valley churches. It is important to us to be able to intertwine the elements of our other program offerings with the driving force of truth behind God's wonderful institution of marriage.

The core of our offering to the Church is 90 minutes of information and practical application joined by transparent dialogue, and all moving in the consistent direction of why we believe sex is safest and most sensible only within a lifelong monogamous commitment—marriage. Our offering of faith-based support brings parents and students together in one venue, yet separates them for simultaneous presentations. The presentations provide the opportunity for ongoing dialogue regarding the information just shared. What results is a common dialogue on a consistent message, but with the added potential of continued reinforcement of the principles learned through ongoing conversation between parents and students.

Parental Support

Parents are the first and foremost "sex educator" in the life of a young adult. By God's intention, a parent holds the keys to protective wisdom and healthy structure during the teenage years. As character and life skills develop, CPC Prevention works to share God's principles and his standard of abstinence-until-marriage for all people. Parents have the opportunity to impart this precious area of God's wisdom to their children. During our 90 minute presentation, our team works with parents to encourage and empower their resolve and to enable them to take advantage of this important facet of their responsibility as parents, role models, and carriers of God's Word.

A Perfect Design for Teens

During our faith-based presentation to students, our team takes advantage of the opportunity to credit the Perfect Designer with the boundaries he developed for the sanctity and pleasure of a sacred covenant: sex within marriage. Similar to our work in schools, we provide practical solutions and realistic thinking to supersede what the media says is good or right, what our peers say is normal or acceptable, and what our bodies say they want or need. God's wisdom and God's heart can only get the proper spotlight in the church! His design is perfect and promises freedom and satisfaction to those who follow it.
